There is no free plan. There are three paid plans, priced in USD: Basic at $9.99 a month, Professional at $29.99 a month and Enterprise at $59.99 a month. Through the Shopify App Store you can also pay yearly: $99, $299 or $599 a year. Every new account starts with a 14-day trial using Basic limits, and no card is needed to start it.

No. You can sign up on the web at jewelvalue.app and pay by card (billed in USD by Stripe), or install Jewel Value from the Shopify App Store and pay through your Shopify bill. Paying by card, you change plan or cancel from Settings → Billing; through Shopify, you do it from your Shopify admin or by uninstalling the app. You can export your valuations at any time.

Basic: up to 50 a month. Professional: up to 500 a month. Enterprise: unlimited. A valuation counts once it is finalised; drafts do not count. The count resets each calendar month.

Yes. Basic includes 2 team members, Professional includes 10 and Enterprise has no limit. Each person gets a role (owner, admin, manager, staff or viewer), and only managers and above can approve or reject a valuation.

A PDF certificate with your business name and logo, the customer, the item title and description, metal, photos, diamond and gemstone details when recorded, hallmark details, a breakdown of metal weight, purity and rate when costed, the appraised value, the valuer’s name, credentials and signature, the issue date and a reference number. Each certificate also carries a QR code and link for online verification.

Yes. Scanning the QR code or entering the certificate number at jewelvalue.app/portal/verify shows whether the certificate is valid, its issue date and any expiry date, the item title and category, and the business that issued it. The value is not shown there. A certificate replaced by an approved amendment is shown as superseded. Customers can also view and download their certificates through a secure customer portal.

The valuer. Jewel Value records the evidence (metal, stones, weights, photos and notes), works out metal content as a reference, and produces the certificate, but it does not decide what an item is worth. A qualified person in your business sets and approves the final value.

Yes. Gold, silver, platinum and palladium spot prices are refreshed automatically every 10 minutes and converted into your currency using live exchange rates. You can also keep your own rate book of the metal rates your shop uses, with the current spot price offered as a suggestion.

You can value items in 15 currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, ZAR, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN, CZK, HUF and INR, set per valuation. Certificates and the dashboard are available in 13 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish and Czech.
