Emailing certificates to customers

Emailing Certificates

Once a certificate is generated, you can email the PDF to the customer with one click.

How it works

From the valuation detail, click Email Certificate. The customer receives:

  • A short message branded with your business name and logo
  • The PDF as an attachment
  • A link to the customer portal where they can re-download any time

What address it comes from

The from-address is your tenant's verified sending domain. If you haven't set one up, mail goes from noreply@jewelvalue.app with your business name as the display name.

To use your own domain, set up SPF + DKIM records and contact support to verify — typical turnaround is 24h.

Reply-to

Replies go to the support email in Settings > Company, so customer questions land with you, not us.

Delivery via Resend

We send through Resend's HTTP API for reliability. If a send fails (bounce, address invalid), you'll see a notification in the dashboard within minutes.

Bulk email

Combined with bulk certificate generation, you can email a whole batch by selecting the Send to customer option on the bulk action — each valuation's customer gets their own personalised message.
