Connecting Shopify

You can connect a Shopify store in two ways: install our app from the Shopify App Store, or connect manually from Settings.

Install from the App Store

1. Visit the Jewel Value listing in the Shopify App Store
2. Click Install and approve the requested scopes
3. You're redirected back to a Jewel Value dashboard already authenticated
4. Billing is handled by Shopify's managed pricing

Manual connection from Jewel Value

If you already have a Jewel Value account and want to add Shopify:

1. Settings > Integrations > Shopify
2. Enter your shop domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com)
3. Connect Shopify Store → you'll be sent to Shopify to approve scopes
4. After approval Shopify redirects you back, and the integration shows Active

What we request

• read_products: import product titles, identifiers, images, prices, SKUs, and related catalogue fields
• write_products: link a certificate to a product using a Jewel Value metafield
• read_orders: create valuation drafts from order line items when automatic creation is enabled
• read_customers: attach the relevant order customer name and email to those drafts

Shopify classifies customer, store-owner contact, staff, device, and activity information as protected customer data. Jewel Value requests only the access shown on Shopify's install screen and App Store privacy disclosure, uses it to provide and secure the integration, and does not sell it. Review the current disclosure before approving the install.

Disconnecting

From Integrations, click Disconnect. We immediately revoke our access token and stop receiving webhooks. Your existing valuations are unchanged.
