Diamond grading fields

On the Jewellery Details step, set the main stone's type to Diamond (or Moissanite) to show the grading fields below.

Shape and weight

• Shape: Round Brilliant, Princess, Cushion, Oval, Marquise, Pear, Emerald, Asscher, Radiant, Heart, Trillion, Baguette and more, including old cuts such as Old European and Old Mine.
• Carat weight. For a piece with several stones, record the others as secondary stones.
• Measurements of the stone.

Grades

• Colour: D to N, then O-P, Q-R and S-Z, plus fancy colours such as Fancy Yellow, Fancy Pink and Fancy Blue.
• Clarity: FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, I1, I2, I3.
• Cut, Polish and Symmetry: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
• Fluorescence: None, Faint, Medium, Strong, Very Strong.

Origin

Choose Natural, Lab Grown, Treated / Enhanced, Simulant or Unknown. For lab-grown stones you can record the growth method, such as HPHT or CVD.

Lab report

Choose the lab — GIA, IGI, HRD, AGS, GCAL and others are listed — and enter the report number. If lab-report lookup is available to your account, the step offers it for supported labs; otherwise enter the details yourself.

Secondary stones

Add each group of accent stones with its type, quantity and total carat weight, plus optional shape, colour, clarity and setting.
