Diamond Grading Fields

The wizard collects the standard 4Cs plus a few fields beyond.

Shape

Round Brilliant, Princess, Emerald, Asscher, Cushion, Oval, Pear, Marquise, Heart, Radiant, or Other.

Carat

Weight in carats, to two decimal places. For multi-stone pieces enter the total carat weight in this field and a per-stone breakdown in Description.

Colour

D through Z. D–F is colourless, G–J near-colourless. Anything below K should be flagged in Description.

Clarity

FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, I1, I2, I3.

Cut

Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Round Brilliant has the most reliable cut grading; other shapes are graded by polish + symmetry only.

Fluorescence

None, Faint, Medium, Strong, Very Strong. Strong fluorescence reduces value modestly; Very Strong reduces it materially.

Lab certificate

If the diamond is certified, enter the lab (GIA / IGI / HRD / GCAL / Other) and the report number. The Integrations module can verify GIA, IGI and HRD numbers in real time.

Estimated price

Use the Diamond Pricing tool (under Metal Pricing) to get a wholesale-side estimate — apply your retail markup before recording Retail Replacement Value.
