Certificate designs, brand theme and plan limits

Your certificates use one design for the whole account, chosen in Settings > Branding on the Certificates tab.

Fifteen designs

Heritage, Atelier, Vault, Sovereign, Dossier, Couture, Meridian, Monolith, Obsidian, Deco, Botanica, Prism, Boutique, Horology and Letterpress. Pick one under Certificate Template; Heritage is the default.

Brand theme

Under Brand theme:

  • Accent colour
  • Paper tone: Light, Cream or Charcoal
  • Metallic finish: Gold, Silver, Rose, Platinum, Copper or Graphite
  • Font pairing: Classic, Editorial, Swiss, Deco, Modern, Romantic, Bold or System
  • Monogram (optional): up to three characters; if you leave it blank it's taken from your company name
  • Watermark: Off, Certificate text or Monogram
  • Item photos: Primary photo only, Gallery (multiple photos) or Hidden (no photo)

Select Generate branded PDF preview to see the result before saving.

Plans

Your logo prints on certificates on every plan. Custom branding — colours, header and footer text, certificate template, brand theme and email styling — is included in the Professional and Enterprise plans and in every free trial.

On Basic, certificates use the default design with your logo and business details. Your appraiser defaults, professional notice and paper size still apply. If you set up branding during your trial, it's kept but not applied while you're on Basic, and it returns if you upgrade.

On Basic, the logo upload stays available, the other branding controls are greyed out, and a note explains that custom branding needs the Professional or Enterprise plan. See Upgrading or downgrading plans.

Certificates already issued

Changing the design doesn't alter certificates that have already been issued — only new ones.
