Customizing Certificate Templates

The certificate is rendered server-side from a single template that picks up your tenant settings at generation time. Most customisation is configuration, not template editing.

What you can change in Settings > Branding

• Logo: PNG with transparent background (max 512KB), prints in the header
• Primary colour: header bar and section title accent
• Signature image: scanned signature for the appraiser line at the bottom
• Watermark: enable/disable and set the watermark text

What you can change in Settings > Company

• Business name, address, VAT/registration number
• Contact email and phone
• Default appraiser name (overridable per valuation)

Custom header / footer

Free-text fields in Settings > Branding that print at the very top and bottom of every certificate. Useful for compliance footers or claim instructions ("In the event of loss, contact your insurer with this certificate number").

Per-tenant translations

Certificates render in the tenant's chosen language. We support 13 languages out of the box; for any others use Settings > Regional and contact support — we can add a translation in 1–2 weeks.

Code-level template changes

The HTML template lives in the API and isn't user-editable. If you need bespoke layout (different paper size, different field order) contact support — Enterprise customers can have a custom template built.
