Customizing certificate templates
Owners and admins set up certificates in Settings > Branding, on the Certificates tab. The settings apply to every certificate on the account.
Certificate Layout
- Header Text and Footer Text: printed at the top and bottom of every certificate — useful for a compliance line or claim instructions.
- Paper Size: A4 or Letter.
- Border Style, Show Company Logo and Show Watermark.
Professional record
Appraiser name, credentials, registration number and professional notice. See Company details and appraiser defaults.
Certificate Template and Brand theme
Choose one of fifteen designs and set your brand theme. See Certificate designs, brand theme and plan limits.
Preview before you save
Select Generate branded PDF preview to create a sample certificate with your current settings — you don't need to save first. The sample uses a fictional item and customer. Save when you're happy; new certificates use your saved design, and certificates already issued stay unchanged.
What each plan can change
On Basic, certificates use the default design with your logo. Your logo, the Show Company Logo switch, paper size, appraiser defaults and the professional notice can still be set; the header and footer text, border, watermark, template and brand theme need the Professional or Enterprise plan. Every trial includes the full set.
The designs themselves
The designs aren't editable page by page. If none of the fifteen suits you, contact support with what you need.
