Company details and appraiser defaults
Two places hold the business information printed on your certificates. Only owners and admins can open them.
Settings > Company
- Company Name (required) and Trading Name. Certificates show your trading name if you set one, otherwise your company name.
- Email (required). It prints on certificates as your contact address, and it's the reply-to address on certificate emails, so customer replies reach you.
- Phone and Website print on the certificate's contact line, together with your city and country where they're recorded.
- Registration Number and VAT Number.
- Business Address: address line 1, city and postcode are required; address line 2 and county are optional.
Select Save. Changes apply to certificates issued afterwards. A certificate that has already been issued keeps the details it was issued with.
Appraiser defaults
Open Settings > Branding, then the Certificates tab. Under Professional record:
- Appraiser name, Credentials and Registration number are used on a certificate when the valuation doesn't contain its own appraiser details. Only enter credentials and registration numbers you're authorised to use.
- Professional notice replaces the standard notice about the certificate's purpose, date, insurer acceptance and updates. Leave it blank to use the standard notice.
Appraiser defaults, the professional notice and paper size are available on every plan, including Basic.
Per-valuation appraiser details
The valuation wizard's Valuation step has its own appraiser name, credentials and registration fields. Anything entered there is used for that valuation instead of the defaults.
