Editing a Valuation

Open a valuation from the list and click Edit. The same wizard reopens with the saved values.

When editing is allowed

Valuations can be edited while they are in Draft or Pending Review. Once a valuation is Approved, Rejected, or Archived the Edit button is disabled — move it back to Pending Review first (managers and above) if a change is genuinely needed.

What's editable

Everything except the reference number, which is assigned at create time and printed on the certificate. If a reference needs to be invalidated, reject or archive the valuation and create a new one.

Certificates after an edit

If a certificate was already generated, regenerate it from the valuation page after the change is approved so the PDF matches the updated values. The previous PDF remains stored for audit purposes.

Audit log

Every edit is logged with the user, timestamp, and the fields that changed. View the history from the Activity page.
